Even the tiniest businesses can accept credit cards thanks to Square. Once you download the free app, you can sign up to receive a credit card reader dongle (for free) in the mail. Once the dongle arrives, you can plug it directly into your Android device, and voila, you have a portable POS system at your disposal. While there are similar apps out there, Square is our favorite because it's easy to use and the flat-rate pricing (regardless of card type and whether you run a card as credit or debit) is ideal for small businesses.
One of the first major communication apps, Skype is still our favorite free small business app for hosting video conference calls and chatting in general. You can take Skype on the go with the Android app, which allows you to use the front-facing camera on your phone or tablet and stay connected with your team no matter where you (or they) are. One of Skype's best features is the ability to call non-Skype users, and even international numbers, at a competitive rate through the Skype Credit program.

At launch, it featured a web app, an Android app, and an iOS app. Features for G Suite users include:

Nowadays, the app offers multiple features, including task assignment and scheduling, task updating, and reminder sending. Asana helps reduce emails related to project management, giving your team more time to work on the actual task at hand.

Keeping up with the news is nearly impossible if you're a B2B business owner who is constantly on the go. Even when you do have time to check up on your favored publication, you might often find that what you're looking for or interested in is nowhere to be found. This is particularly problematic if breaking news has to do with your business and you miss out on an opportunity to capitalize on it through PR initiatives. The best way to remedy this problem is to download the iOS and Android app Flipboard. Flipboard gathers content from social networks, news publications, and blogs to display stories, articles, blog posts, videos, and other content in a magazine-like format. When you first use Flipboard you subscribe to topics you're interested in so that you can be sure the app is giving you content that is relevant to you. Price: Free

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Alphabet Inc’s Google has suspended business with Huawei that requires the transfer of hardware, software and technical services except those publicly available via open source licensing, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters on Sunday, in a blow to the Chinese technology company that the U.S. government has sought to blacklist around the world.
A mobile app plays a major role in establishing a smooth connection between a brand and its audience. With a mobile app, your customers can not only get easy access to your products, services, and contact information, it also helps you instantly resolve their queries, on the fly. In addition, it also helps you deliver quality services, thus adding value to your business.
For small businesses or businesses that are just starting out and aiming to deliver superior content and establish a broader market presence without much user interaction, developing a responsive website will be much more economical, quicker and convenient than a full-blown mobile app. Renowned giants like Yelp and Zillow see most of their traffic through their web apps. Before making any decisions, know your business requirements and know your client niche.
On February 22, 2007, Google introduced Google Apps Premier Edition, which differed from the free version by offering more storage (10 GB per user), APIs for business integration, 99.9% uptime for Gmail, and 24/7 phone support. It cost $50 per user account per year. According to Google, early adopters of Google Apps Premier Edition included Procter & Gamble, San Francisco Bay Pediatrics, and Salesforce.com. Additionally, all editions of Google Apps were then able to use Google Documents and Spreadsheets, users could access Gmail on BlackBerry mobile devices, and administrators gained more application control.[7] Further enhancements came, on June 25, 2007, when Google added a number of features to Google Apps, including mail migration from external IMAP servers, shared address books, a visual overhaul of Google Docs and Google Sheets, and increased Gmail attachment size.[8] A ZDNet article noted that Google Apps now offered a tool for switching from the popular Exchange Server and Lotus Notes, positioning Google as an alternative to Microsoft and IBM.[9] On October 3, 2007, a month after acquiring Postini, Google announced that the startup's email security and compliance options had been added to Google Apps Premier Edition. Customers now had the ability to better configure their spam and virus filtering, implement retention policies, restore deleted messages, and give administrators access to all emails.[10]
